For years Malice had kept her silence as she lay within the cold confines of her cell. Betrayal still burned deep inside her soul and anger had been building into a deathly rage since she had recieved the news that her half brother, Jinx had betrayed her. She had taught him everything he knew and in the end he had used it against her. This did not surprise Malice at all, in truth she had almost expected it from the Half shadow wolf half demon. She gave a soft snort in memory of her capture.

   It was the night of the full moon and the Shadow Wolves were at their peak. It happen that every year on the first full moon all the Shadow wolves of Raven Brooke gather to fight each other to see who would face Nicolai to be leader. Now Nicolai was the oldest of them all though he looked to be in his early thirties. Malice didn't care, She had had the biggest crush on him since she first laid eyes on Nicolai. He was around 6'2 and had a lean muscled physique that she longed to nip on. She had even once been foolish enough to fantasize that he would choose her to be his mate. Yeah right, there were many Shadow wolves prettier and better suited than her. After all, a male had to earn Malice's submission and that had not yet happened.

   Though on this night Malice had been placed against Verrissa, an older more experience Grey Shadow Wolf. Verrissa despised Malice with her entire being and the feeling was mutual. Their fight had been long and hard. Every time Malice had attacked her, Verrissa attacked back twice as hard. It was almost as if she was playing with the young wolf. Little did Malice know it was all part of her capture. Just as Malice when to close her jaws over Verrissa's throat she had delved the final blow, a long fang down Malice's right eye, the young wolf was now partially blind and Nicolai had called the fight off. 

   "You broke the rules Vera..." He growled as he approached the two in his massive black wolf body. His molten amber eyes seemed infuriated to where even Verrissa flattened her ears.

   "There were no rules against it, M'lord" She spoke back in a slightly shakey voice. her ears still flat as he moved nose to nose with her. 

   "Shadow Wolves come to fight to gain honor and a place among their people, not maul each other like senseless animals. You have damaged her ability to helpful to her pack.." His eyes never once left Verrissa's. The packs were now silent. "Now you too shall suffer with her fate!" He roared and slashed her down the same eye that she had struck Malice. The she-wolf howled in pain as he then grabbed her throat between his powerful jaws, within moments he had her on her back with her tail tucked in submission. Only after her submission did he let her up and spoke once more, "You are banned from the Fights, Verrissa Grey Wolf, do not let me catch you here again...." He took one look at Malice, his eyes held sorrow, compassion and want? She looked away unsure of what to do.

  The sound of footsteps broke her train of thought, it was too heavy to be a guard.. within moments Jinx stepped out. A growl was emitted from deep within her throat.

"Now dear sister... Is that how you great you brother?" His voice was light and airy. He kinda reminded her of a fruit if you caught her drift.

She didn't respond.

"Now come come, You need to greet me with the proper respect... maybe then I would stop letting the demons have their way with you." He laughed out loud. The demons were monstrous creatures that were conjured from nothing but lust. And their appendages varied from tentacles to dicks and they seriously got off on hurting the she-wolf but she refused to submit. She was simply waiting..

Jinx having lost patience with her opened the door to her cell. Her heart pounded but she didn't move. He took a few steps inside... deadly mistake.... Slowly she stood up.

"What are you doing dear sister??" Jinx's voice quivered as she walked closer.

For the first time in 6 years she spoke, "I'm breaking free!" She lunged for him as he ducked and she quickly jumped over him and ran with everything she had!
