Chapter 1
The night was dark and the ship was silent, all of the crew were fast asleep in there secure quarters, all, except Tetra, she was sat near the wheel of the ship, looking out into the sea and beholding its beauty. She couldn’t sleep that night, as much as she tried she couldn’t rest her head on her soft pillow and enter her own perfect world, were everything was just as she liked it. There was too much on her mind.
Directly below were Tetra was sitting, was Links cabin, directly next to the captains, the cabin was large but not nearly as large as Tetras, there were a few pictures scattered across the wooden walls, mainly consisting of islands such as Outset and Windfall, however there was one picture that stood in a golden frame on the shelf next to Links bed,
The picture was beautiful, the beach was stunning and the sea was tranquil, but what really made the picture a sight to behold, was the two people inside this picture, Link and Tetra, they both wore their normal clothes, and they were both smiling,
Over on the bed lay the golden haired Link, staring at this picture, recalling the great memories from that day, Link rose from his bed, he too couldn’t sleep, he put on his green outfit and headed outside.
The strong wind blew in his face as Link yawned; he headed up the stairs to where Tetra was sitting. At first he didn't notice Tetra sitting on the edge of the ship, she was silent and obviously concentrating on something.
“Um... hello Tetra” Link said quietly, Tetra turned her head towards Link, “What are you doing up so late?
“Couldn’t sleep” She explained looking back into the sea. Link slowly made his way over to her and sat beside her, he looked over at Tetra expecting her to say something, but she didn't even glance at him.
There Was A Long Silence
“I'm going to bed,” Tetra said finally as she stood up and slowly made her way to the stairs,
“Wait!” Link yelled in a quiet voice, Tetra immediately turned expecting him to say the thing she’d been thinking about all night, but as Link saw this excitement on her face he realised that this wasn’t the right time and simply said “Goodnight.” All the excitement had left her face and was replaced by anger and sadness, she stomped of like an angry child to her cabin, and when she got there she immediately jumped onto her bed and cried herself to sleep.
Link remained looking out into the sea, thinking about Tetra, many thoughts filled his head, and he began questioning himself,
"What Have I Done?" Link muttered to himself as he rose from where he was sat and retired to his quarters.
