Hatter
Hatter Chapter two — Chapter 2
The next morning I awoke in the same position I fell asleep in with a disappointed sigh I trekked out to get fresh air in the garden. After about ten minutes I saw a small white shape running through the hydrangeas. “Wait white rabbit” I yelled chasing after him. He led me to a hole in a tree. With a smile I jump in not afraid at all.
I was falling for what seemed like hours. Then I finally landed in the room I had heard about a thousand times. Knowing the story by heart I bent down beneath the table and pick up the tiny cake. Just in case I needed it later. Then I picked up the key from the table and the small bottle. Sticking the tiny cake into a small inner pocket on in my dress I pop the cork of the bottle and take a small drink. With a cough I begin to shrink. Smiling triumphantly I take the key to the door and unlock it. I walk through the door into underland. It was just as Alice had described it all the colors and creatures were just as I had imagined. Standing before me was tweedledee and tweedledumb, Mr. Mouse and the white rabbit. I couldn’t believe that I was actually here. “Alice! Welcome back” they chorused “um...I’m sorry but I’m not Alice. I am her niece Charlotte but she said to tell you all she says hello and that she misses you all.” I said sheepishly. The group was all in a twitter upset that I wasn’t who they thought I was. “Excuse me white rabbit, could you take me to see the white queen my aunt said she would like to meet me when I arrived.” I said trying to stop the argument that was starting. “Oh yes sorry my lady.” The rabbit in the waist coat said with a small bow. “I can’t take you all the way because I am late for a prior engagement. So I could take you to the hatter and have him take you the rest of the way.” He said apologetically. “that’s ok” I said trying to contain my excitement out of all my aunt Alice’s friends she told me about the hatter was my favorite.
