I can't wait to see you Again — Chapter 1

A fanfiction about fictional story in TV Shows » Doctor who

As he walked through the busy streets of London, The Doctor wondered how Danielle could let herself die like that. She was only 16, her whole life ahead of her, and she choose to die.

The Doctor pushed the thought at the back of his mind, no time to think about that. As he walked, he realized throughout the whole ordeal up to her death, He acted was if he was her father, not her guardian, not her keeper, not her overseer, but her father. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes, she was the daughter he never had.

Slowly, he made his way to the TARDIS, not catching the short glimpse of a figure out of the corner of his eye. He shut the doors, and walked to the console, his finger merely glinding on, and off the various controls. he had not the will to move them. Instead, he collapsed on the Captain's chair. he was going into emo-overload.

And that's the very moment the TARDIS choose to rock violently, chucking him on the floor. He stumbled to his feet, grabbing hold of the console. He fought his way to the screen, and stared in amazement.

"No," He whispered, "no, it can't be. Not now."

The city of London, was being swallowed into a trans-dimentional hole, no, not a trans-dimentional hole, The Gate.

"Why?"

The TARDIS shook violently, sending him to the floor.

"How?"

He was thrown back, and forth throughtout the room.

"What's going on?!"

The TARDIS finally stopped shaking. The Doctor picked himself off the floor, and headed towards the doors, flinging them open wide, he stepped out of the TARDIS, on into the surface of a alien planet.

"Where am I?"

He stepped away from the TARDIS, and looked around himself, everything was so different, the ground was purple, the trees were orange, and sky was green, Everyone around him looked like mutated fish, he was going to stick out like a sore thumb. Again, he wondered why the TARDIS brought him here. He was going to find in a few minutes.

"You are under arrest, by the decree of his Highness Lord Fishington!" two fish-people ran after him, and he started to run like the skinny little Time Lord he was, only to get caught by them, and drug off to the Royal Palace, and thrown before Lord Fishington.

"My Lord, we found him outside in the forest."

The Doctor, (On his hands, and knees,) looked up the fish-person sitting in the throne before him.

"I didn't do a thing your majesty!"

"Take him to the cavern."

The Doctor was pulled to his feet, and led outside, and along the road. they walked for what felt like miles until they finally reached the side of a cliff, the stone the resided infront of the opening was moved, and The Doctor was rudely shoved down the shute-like entrance before it was replaced, leaving him in the dark.

"Hello? Anyone?" he didn't know why he tried, he was sure his efforts were useless. That is, until a female voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Hello Doctor."

He turned frantically, trying to find the source in the dark. "Who's there?!"

"It's me remember?" A snapping sound could be heard, a giant chrystal illuminated off the wall, and lying on it was, a young girl dressed in warrior-chick's clothing.

"Danielle?!"

"Yes Doctor?"

"Danielle?!"

"Yes?"

"Danielle?!"

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand you're dilusional."

He walked up the chrystal, standing almost under it.

"But you died," he stammered, "didn't you?"

"Yes Doctor," She replied, "I did."

"But that make you a-a-a-a-"

"A ghost?"

"Yes, how can you be here?"

"Feel my hand Doctor," Danielle said, completely changing the subject, she slid one hand off the side of the chrystal, down to The Doctor's level. He reached up, and lightly touched it, expected his hand to just pass through, but instead, he was surprised be how solid her hand felt.

"Danielle."

"Yes Doctor?"

"How?"

"Because, I want it to be that way."

He grasped her hand, and lightly tugged on it, causing her slip off the chrystal, and into his arms. He gently dropped her legs on the ground, one arm still across her backside.

"Danielle, you don't know how much I missed you." he hugged her tightly, her head against his chest.

"I can guess."

He held her out at arms length, "You not the typical ghost are you?"

"No," Danielle replied, "I'm a different kind."

"I suppose The Gate Keeper doesn't completely die?"

"No," Danielle replied, "I'm still The Gate Keeper."

"Not exactly dead," The Doctor said, "But not alive either."

"Yeah, that little inbetween thing called Shadows."

"Shadows?"

"Yeah, beings that basically can live as if they were alive."

That's when the ground began shaking, and opened.
