Phantom Spirit

Plot:

After their quest in finding Gin’s dead body, Naru’s long lost twin. Mai, Ayako, Masako, Yasuhara, Lin-san, Bou-san, John and Naru are going to face a new quest. This time Naru’s past is revealed, The Davis family and all its members are going to be shown. A phantom spirit will appear. He can lead the Shibuya Psychic Research Center into a battle with the spirits.

“Where am I?” Naru said silently, his voiced echoed in a room he was sure he had seen before. “This place looks familiar…” his voiced echoed again. After saying those words, a crack formed in the walls of the room, and then everything broke like glass. He starts to float, “What’s happening?” he said to his mind. He looks to his hands and saw it was small; he looked to himself and saw he was turned back into a child. The broken glasses came back and formed a new image, this time he was in smaller room. The room has 3 beds; he came close to the beds and touched the middle one of the beds. He felt that it was warm, it seems like someone was in there a while ago. He remained silent until a heavy feeling came to him; he heard a little girl crying. The cry seemed so close, then Naru hears the girl said, “Help me big brother…” He felt that head hurts, he crouches to the ground saying “No, stop….I didn’t mean to-“. “Help me nii-chan!” the girl’s voiced echoed in HIsmind. He screams loudly and says “Stop!” Mai calls to Naru, “Naru! Wake up!” Then he awakens from a bad dream, Mai asks, “Is there something wrong? Are you okay?” Naru replies like nothing happened, “What is it you want.” Mai says annoyingly to himself, “why didn’t I remember, Naru wouldn’t reply your question if he thinks it’s stupid!”, while saying this she turns around Naru and clenched her fist.

She teasingly asks Naru, “Hehehe…Naru, What’s your nightmare all about?” Naru didn’t answer (seems like he didn’t heard Mai) and just said, “Make me some coffee.” Mai’s facial expression got blank, but really the only thing in her mind was “You deaf pretending monster!”

Someone knocked the door, “Just a minute!” While walking to the door she asks Naru, “Uhmm… Where’s Lin-san?” “They went to the store.” Mai became confused; she thought, “Them? I wonder who’s with Lin-san now.” She opens the door and saw Masako, Ayako, Lin, and John carrying bags of some foods. “Hello,” Ayako greeted Mai. They went to the living room and saw Naru drinking coffee. “Why did it took so long for you to get here?” he said calmly, “Lin is the only one I ordered to buy the things we need;” Lin remained with no expression just like Masako, John just smiles and Mai and Ayako takes a deep breath, frowned and whispered silently, “Is it a crime to buy other things nowadays?” “No it isn’t crime to buy the things you need, but the things you bought were trash.” Naru replied. “Hey! You’re wrong we need these things you call trash!” >B( , Ayako complains. (Masako calls Mai to make them coffee. Seems like they don’t hear Ayako screaming(--_--) “How important are earrings to you anyway?” Naru asks. “Uhmm… They’re donations to the charity for old fashioned elders. Right John?” He doesn’t seem to hear Ayako, but after a while he said charmingly, “Sorry Ayako-san but I don’t know.”

“Ayako just sit down here and calm.” Masako said. The rest just nodded. Mai asks, “By the way where’s Bou-san and Yasuhara-kun?” “As usual Yasuhara-kun is now studying, and Bou-san is in a concert.” John answered. “Bou-san must really like concerts and rock bands, I guess he knows the fact that his monk.” Mai said.

Lin-san breaks the humor in the air, “Naru we have a new mission, have you read the documents the client send?” Naru puts his cup at his office table, “I already called the client, He would be here tomorrow.” “A new mission… what is it all about?” Masako asks. “He didn’t say anything.” Naru replied. “A surprise mission, how exciting,” John added. “We should all be ready; I already have a feeling that this is not a simple task.” Masako said negatively. “Whatever that is; we would find it out tomorrow.” Mai added and smiled.

Mai was about to go to school, but she remembered that she don’t know what time would the client come. She then went to the Shibuya psychic research (S.P.R.) office. “Good morning!” Mai greeted, “I just want to know what time will the client come,” she added. “4:00 p.m.” Ayako answered. “Huh?” Mai wondered. “Why is there something wrong?” Ayako asked. “Oh! Nothing I thought Naru would be the one who’d answer me,” Mai answered while blushing (~’-‘~). “I should go now bye!” Mai then started running to her school. On the way she passed by the old house near her school, she saw a gray haired girl. The girl wore the same uniform as Mai. Mai stopped running and just walked closer to the girl. “It’s a nice house, right?” the girl smiled at Mai, “Yeah, it is,” Mai smiled back. After that a strong wind came, when the wind calmed down; the girl in front of her disappeared. “Where did she go?” Mai thought, then she heard someone called her name; “Mai,” it was only her classmate Yoko, “You’ll be late for school if you don’t hurry up!” Yoko added. “Be right there!” Mai glanced at the house while running away to her classmate.

“Mai, have you heard the news?” Mai’s another classmate Aoi asked. “What news?” Mai asked in return. “You know what, because of your secret part time job you never really got updated to the latest news” Yoko said. “Yup that’s right,” Aoi nodded.(O.o) “I really don’t know if the news your saying are news for… like normal, or the rumors which are the ones you call newest news”Mai replied. The door opens and their teacher enters the classroom, “Okay class listen up! You’re going to have a new classmate, be nice to her okay, Come in now,” Just then a girl came in the room, the girl smiled and looked at Mai. Mai then started to think, because the girl was familiar. “Listen up, she came from another country but she’s Japanese. Help her adjust—.” Mai stood up quickly and shouted, “So you’re not a ghost!” All her classmates looked at Mai, “Is there a problem Mai Tanimaya?” her teacher asked. Mai blushed, “Sorry ma’am there’s no problem,” and then she sat again in her chair; “Shall I continue speaking now?” …”Yes Ma’am” Mai replied obviously embarrassed. “Okay now introduce yourself,” said the homeroom teacher.

“I am Kyoko Oshima; I love to hang with my friends and meeting new ones. I hope all of you can become good friends of mine. (^-^). With her charming smile, the boys became speechless; Aoi easily broke the silence, “Oh-yeah!-Now-we-have-a-cute-classmate”, she said these words by spinning non stop. “Okay Aoi that’s enough to greet her, now sit!” their teacher exclaimed. “We need a volunteer to help her adjust to this school,” added “Kyoko pick one of your classmates.” Kyoko looked around the room, then she raised her hand and point out to something. All students looked at where she was pointing at, then they saw Mai, “Wait was it me? She asked. “Yup Tanimaya-san” Kyoko nodded.
