a/n: This was the first chapter I wrote for STR. I'm sorry that it has a lot of exclamation points in it. I had a little to much sugar that day! ;)

                            CHAPTER 1 - IDIOCY

                          BPOV (Bella’s Point of View)        

“I love you,” he whispered in my ear.

My heart thudded furiously. I couldn’t help but to get nervous around Edward Cullen! He was charming, romantic, and at this moment he was saying that he loves me! Me of all people!

My name is Bella Swan, also known as Klutzerella! I have brown wavy hair, brown eyes and pale skin. This all leads to boring, which describes me so perfectly. I am a shy, petite girl who always blushes! This second, my cheeks were as red as they could be!

            Edward’s piercing green eyes locked on mine. He leaned his face closer to me, gently placing his warm lips on mine. Suddenly, we were kissing. Edward freaking Cullen was kissing Klutzerella!  

Wanting to save this moment forever, I deepened the kiss. Next thing I knew, he pulled back. I was taken-back and confusion washed through me.

“Edward, what’s wrong?” I asked.

“Bella… I can’t do this anymore,” he stated flatly.

“Do what anymore?”

“Go out with you.”

“Huh?” Is this a joke or something?

I mean he was just telling me he loved me like a minute ago! And now he wants to break up? This doesn’t make any sense.

And then it struck me…. Edward was a player. Wait a second, that’s an understatement. Edward is the player. However, when he asked me out, a shy loner, I thought he had changed. I guess I was wrong.

“But he went out with you for two whole weeks!” I tried to tell myself. Everyone knew that Edward Cullen only went out with a girl for five days. When he and I made it past the five day mark, I thought he really liked me. But I guess I was wrong, again

God, I knew I should’ve never let myself go out with Edward. After all, he’s gorgeous and I’m…well… I’m not. He has shiny bronze hair that looked perfect, and pale skin like mine. And that crooked smile of his… just melted every girl’s heart.

Tears started to fill up in my eyes when I asked Edward, “But why?”

“I met someone else,” he replied coldly, refusing to look me in the eyes.

What the hell!? Didn’t he just say he loved me? What kind of jerk breaks up with his girlfriend after saying that?! Apparently, Edward Cullen.

Tears were flowing town my cheeks. I must’ve looked like an idiot. Hell, I was an idiot! I was an idiot to believe that this relationship could actually be going somewhere! I wanted to slap myself in the face right now.
