                                                                      CHAPTER 6 – VENGEANCE

                                                                       BPOV (Bella’s Point of View)

I just slammed the door at Edward Cullen’s face! Whoa. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do that! Ha, take that you lying bitch!

I felt a pang of uneasiness coming from my heart. Even though I hated him, I still yearned to ki-

“Isabella Marie Swan! Stop this insaneness right now!” My mind roared.

I noticed someone pacing outside. It couldn’t be Edward could it? I mean he wanted to talk to me at the mall and just thirty minutes ago, but he wouldn’t be desperate enough to wait for me outside. I looked in the peephole and couldn’t believe my eyes. He was outside walking rapidly in confusion. Stalker! I pulled out my cell and called Alice.

“Alice!” I called into the phone, loud enough so Edwardcould hear me.

“Bella, you don’t have to yell,” explained Alice.

I ignored her, “You’re idiot of a brother is stalking me!” I said melodramatically so Edward would really feel like an idiot.

“What?” she basically screamed into the phone, “That imbecile had the nerve to come to your house!?”

I sighed, “Yep.”

“Hold on Bella, I’m in my Porsche right now,” she hung up.

I sighed yet again and went to the living room. Sitting on the couch, I drifted away in a sea of thought at once. What did Edward want? Why did keep following me? What did he want to talk to me about?

I kind of guessed the answer to that one. He would ask me to take him back. Psh.  Did he just think I would forgive him just like that? That he could apologize and everything would be forgotten? That I would just fall right back into his arms? No way. That wouldn’t happen. Ever.

If he thought that was going to happen, he should get his brain checked! There is no way, on the face of this Earth that I would forgive him. It was just not going to happen. He was going to have to accept that. After all, he is the one who broke up with me. But who says I can’t make him feel bad for letting me go?

I smiled. That’s exactly what I was going to do. Rose and Alice would make me look super hot and pick out some clothes for me. Then, I would walk into school the next day looking fabulous and watch Edward as he faced the misery. He would cringe for what he put me through, he would suffer dire consequences.

Hearing a car swerve and stop snapped me back into reality. I could here yelling and screaming and… hitting.

“How could you Edward?” Alice’s voice was muffled but it was loud.

“It was necessary Alice!” Edward explained in the same voice level.

“You’re telling me it was necessary to follow my best friend after you broke her heart?”

Edward was silent this time. My heart was throbbing. All that hurting and hate came right back to me. I winced.

“That’s what I thought you nincompoop!”  Alice’s vivid vocabulary had me cracking up.

I heard a car engine come to life and looked out the window. Edward’s silver Volvo was speeding away from my house. I almost felt sad.

“And don’t come back Edward!” Alice shouted to the back of his car.

She marched up to the doorway and rang the bell, still enraged.

“Bella, open the damn door!” she pounded the door with her hand.

                               EPOV (Edward’s Point of View)

I was right outside Bella’s door, waiting for her to finally come outside when I heard someone shouting. It was Bella. I was about to break her door and protect her from whatever that was making her scream when I heard her yell “Alice”. Thank god, she was only calling Alice. But then, why is she calling Alice? I paid more attention this time.

“You’re idiot of a brother is stalking me!” she spoke into the phone.

Stalking? I barely thought of this as stalking. I mean I followed her to the bathrooms and home, but it wasn’t like I was a pervert who was watching her every move. I was a hot guy being protective of her. Who wouldn’t want me “stalking” them?

Next, I heard a barely audible scream from the phone. Ugh, Alice would come and drag me home. Did she not understand that I wanted to beg Bella to come back? I needed to speak to Bella. I need her like I need water. We were meant to be. At least I thought so. Bella, well Bella was confusing, you would never know what that girl was thinking. If only I could read minds.

Alice was here in no time and she started screaming at me.

“How could you Edward?” she asked disgusted at me.

“It was necessary Alice!” I spat back just as noisily as her.

“You’re telling me it was necessary to follow my best friend after you broke her heart?”

I was shocked. Did I really break Bella’s heart? I mean I know I hurt her, but I didn’t now I freaking broke her fragile heart!

“Nice going Edward!” my heart bellowed at me.

I felt a little smug that I had that affect on her. But then I realized all the pain and suffering I cost her and I grimaced. I was silent after that.

“That’s what I thought you nincompoop!”

Soon, I decided to get back into my Volvo and drive home. I didn’t want Bella to hurt anymore. I had done enough damage in her life.

                                                APOV (Alice’s Point of View)

I was sick of this – Edward making Bella’s life more and more miserable. I hated to see the affect that he had on Bella.

I was on my way to Bella’s house, driving as fast as I could without getting into an accident. I arrived to see Edward pacing in front of Bella’s lawn. No wonder she said he was stalking her! He literally was!

I slammed the door of my car shut and went over to him.

“How could you Edward?” I inquired him, letting all my frustration go into those words.

“It was necessary Alice!” he shot back, with the same amount of vengeance as me.

I thought for a moment. What could I say to make him leave Bella alone? An idea popped into my head. This was something that was going to pain Edward into leaving. It was perfect.

“You’re telling me it was necessary to follow my best friend after you broke her heart?” I asked incredulously.

He was quiet. Ha! I knew those last three words would make him shut up! Now, he finally knows all the pain that he has caused my best friend.

“That’s what I thought you nincompoop!” I screamed madly.

Edward walked to his car and drove away without a word.

“And don’t come back Edward!” I yelled to the back of his Volvo.

Marching up the stairs to Bella’s house, I knocked, okay, more like pounded the door. She opened the door and I welcomed myself inside.

“I can’t believe him!” I stated infuriately.

“I know!” Huh. She seemed to agree, “Alice?”

“Yes?”

“I have the perfect idea on how to get back at Edward.” She grinned my evil-mastermind grin and my eyes lit up. Before I knew it, I was beaming with excitement jumping out of me.
