“Don’t go!” That person screamed.

My ears would not listen, even if I wanted to.

With my heavy bag slung off one shoulder and my heart pounding out of my chest, not to mention the breath that beated the hell out of me, I ran.

“HyeNa-yah!”

My legs did not hurt, even running in 4-inch stilettos, with him just 15m behind me, with the affection in his voice while calling my name like he loved me.

“Lee”

“Seon”

“Ki”

With the tears falling, I muttered under my tattered breath,

“Li-ar”

He probably thought I had thrown the ring away.

But with it hung around my neck, his voice faded in the shadows of dawn.

That was where and how our 7 years of love ended.

“Don’t go!” I screamed.

She ran as if she could not hear my plead.

One mistake that changed our lives. I could imagine Her confused face wet with tears, running as if I was going to kill her.

“Jung”

“Hye”

“Na”

Tears blurred my vision, as I muttered under my breath,

“I love you”

That ring, she had probably thrown it in the sea.

I stopped running.
