Chapter Eight: Protection

"Haruno, you all will die here." Orochimaru chilling voice makes it way up the couple bodies, who was Sakura parents Senji and Hina. Sakura's father Senji had not fully given up yet. His bright green eyes shown the will of a ninja of the hidden leaf village. His hands flew right down to his kunai knife pouch on his right thigh and slide out a single kunai knife. Hina, Sakura's mother take a few steps back ward behind of her husband back in a sudden bust of fear.

She was not a ninja like her husband and her child. She is just a normal citizen of the leaf village. She couldn't do anything to help, but to be in her husband way. Her legs trembled, she was not brave as her husband. Her long white hair flew messy in front of her blue eyes but she didn't make any movement to pull her hair back. Who wouldn't be afraid of Orochimaru? Really when he appears in your kitchen at night demanding information on Sakura's mission.

Orochimaru noticed Senji small act of courage to still oppose him unlike his wife who kelp in the back ground. His lips turned into a cat side grin. "Haruno Senji, age 35, Anbu, have no out side family or a blood line, husband to Haruno Hina none ninja. Have a child Haruno Sakura who is a worthless excuse of a medic ninja and a ninja. The likes of you can't defeat me. I can surpass your hokage." Orochimaru said snake like.

Senji growled under his breath. He had enough of Orochimaru picking and messing with his family and clan. Sakura was not a worthless excuse of a ninja. She been training under Lady Hokage herself and the rumors say she can out pass her. Hina his wife is strong than any none ninja he know. Orochimaru took a terrifying step towards the couple in hopes of two deaths with out much of a fight.

Senji threw his kunai knife at Orochimaru who had easy dodge it with out an effort. He let out a cold laugh. "Oh I know I can beat you." Senji reply in fake cockiness. Hina tug on his shirt for him to be careful. Senji ignore his wife warning. He knew that he couldn't beat Orochimaru, but there was a little thing call stalling for time till the Hokage or the anbu reached his house.

"Big words for a coward."

Senji turned his head to his wife half way, still keeping an eye on Orochimaru from the corner of his eye lid. He was not stupid to turned his head fully on him.

"Hina, dear, get out of here. run." Senji told his wife sternly. Hina eyes focus onto Orochimaru. "Go!"

Orochimaru pulled out his long sword from his side, he don't want to waste any more time dealing with the Harunos alone. He took a big leap towards the couple. "I-I can't leave you." Hina cried out of her small pink pale lips. Hina is a very peaceful woman. She don't deserve to be here. He was glad that Sakura was not here. She was against violence and Sakura being a ninja because of it. Senji slide out another kunai knife from a different pouch. He crashed his last kunai knife against the cold hard metal of Orochimaru sword in hopes of holding him off.

With Senji free hand he pushed Hina in her chest hard, in which she flew threw the door and into the next room out of the way of the fight. She landed roughly onto the cold floor with a ugh. Senji pushed his kunai forward and snakes begin to flow out of Orochimaru robe sleeve and onto his sword and before the snakes reached him. Senji suddenly let go of his kunai knife and take a big leap back wards.

Orochimaru eyes widen as he caught onto Senji's plan. Senji heard the explosion. Half of the kitchen blown up and the smoke was still there. On the kunai knife was a paper bomb that he set off on the half expected Orochimaru. Senji closed his eyes and focus on his surroundings, trying to find Orochimaru charka, but he couldn't.

It was too quiet. Senji started to panic. Did Orochimaru leave?

"Your dirty wench!""Agh!"

Senji heard in the next room.

"No." Senji whispered. She didn't run off like he order her too. She didn't get the hint when he thrown her into the living room.

The house is now nearly in ruins. Senji ran to the living room and the sight before him scared him. He saw his wife laid upon the floor lifeless. Her rich long white hair slowly turning to brown when her skin grew pale and paler by the minute. Orochimaru stood above her with his sword which was dripping blood. Hina had a wound on her stomach. Orochimaru robe sleeve was rip for what ever Hina had did before.

"Hina!" Senji shouted. Orochimaru didn't turn to face Senji. "Still you all Harunos are the same. Too emotional for your own good." Orochimaru said. Senji had enough. He could feel the tears coming to his eyes, but he held them back. He refuse to let Orochimaru win.

"Kill me now bastard. I know you couldn't so you go for the weak and thats shows everyone that the Great Orochimaru-teme is yet a coward." Senji yelled out mad.

He sad Orochimaru angry face.

He felt that the anbu had finally arrive.

He saw Orochimaru movement murderous.

The only thing he saw last was a glowing green sheild appeared in front of him protecting him. His wife on the floor cried helpless and lifeless tears.

Hina had protected him even when she was dead.
