“La La Land"

Hey, everyone this is my first try of a Death Note fanfiction ever. I do not read the manga much of Death Note and its been awhile since I watched Death Note. (I watch up to when Near and Mello enters the story and Mello's died.) thats about it, but I wanted to give this a try. *takes in a deep breath* so here goes nothing. I do not own Death Note or any song lyrics in any way. I just own the plot and my oc. A small warning is that some things like the Kira killings may change or the entire thing.

Prologue

Lawliet had no choice when he saw poor Watari leap down onto his chair lifeless. In a desperate act, he knew he was going to die at this moment he ordered all the files to be deleted. Light and rest of the Police Force watched helpless in the workroom at Lawliet who in which in fact L. Light could not keep his grin under control next to L when L flew his back in his chair holding his hand over his chest at the place of his heart minutes after some of the files of the Kira case deleted.

He looked beside of him and saw Light with a huge grin upon his face and the red spark in his eyes, Lawliet drawn to realization that he was right all along. Light is Kira. His eyes started to close and he could hear the screams of the task force around him worrying. I was right...it was you...Lawliet last thoughts before his eyes completely closed and the beat of his heart had finally stopped. Light laughed inside of his mind loudly. He had finally got rid of the great L at last. The talk between L and him did not affect him at all. L had considered him as a friend.

The chair that L lifeless body laid upon made a loud creep of a noise and everyone knew that L was no more.

The new world of Kira can finally be created with out any one in the way this time.
