       It all started 12 years ago. A knock at the door warned the silver-haired teenager of the visitor. He walked over, and opened the door. A beautiful woman carrying a bundle answered him. "Hello Kakashi." she murmured, her voice soft. "Mrs. Uzumaki!" Kakashi exclaimed. The woman smiled, and said, "Do not be suprised. I have a mission for you." The boy  was instantly suspicious. "What kind of mission?"                      

      "My husband does not know of this, but I still have the authority to grant this mission to you. You must care for this child as your own, raise her ignorant of her lineage. She must not know of her relationship to him until she reaches the right age. Do not fail me Kakashi." the woman said. She gave him the bundle she held, which revealed a female baby, with raven blue-black hair with natural purple streaks. The child was sleeping, ignorant of her surroundings. The woman looked sad as she handed over her child, and Kakashi did not ignore that.

       "Are you sure Mrs. Uzumaki? You already lost one child, must you give up your other?"he asked softly. Tears formed in the beautiful woman's amethyst eyes, and she replied softly,"It is for my children's good that I do this." Kakashi nodded and said,"I will carry out this mission in good faith." The woman nodded, before  turning around and walking away, fading into the mist.

        Kakashi looked out to her direction for a long time, before sighing and looking down at the baby. She finally woke up, and opened her eyes hesitantly. He drew in  a sharp breath, and muttered, "You have your mother's eyes." The girl smiled, and snuggled closer to the teen.

       As he set the girl down on his bed, he drew the blanket the swathed around her from her. One name was hand sewn onto the cloth. Masami.
