"___," Pein said, getting your attention.
"What is it, Pein?" you asked, ceasing your spinning on the swivel chair.
"Go with Kakuzu to Ichiraku's and get the supplies," he said.
You sighed. "Sir yes sir," you mumbled, giving him a mock salute before stomping out of the house.
Sure, you were ecstatic to be going out alone with Kakuzu, but shopping? That is the one time when he is angriest...even angrier than when he's arguing with Hidan!

"Can we get this, Kakuzu-kun?" you asked, holding up a Roman Candle.
Kakuzu glanced at the price tag. "No. It's not on sale."
You pouted and put on your best begging face. "Please, please, please?"
Kakuzu twitched before nodding. "Fine. But don't ask for anything else."
His words went unheeded as your eyes lit up in joy and tossed the giant firework into the shopping cart before zooming down the aisles in search of more explosives and snacks.

Kakuzu twitched. "___," he said sternly. "Why do we have twenty different bags of chips?!"
You smiled. "Why, Kakuzu-kun! I've gotten everyone's favorites! Yours too..." you said, wagging the bag of salt and pepper chips in front of him.
He sighed and closed his eyes, performing quick calculations in his head. You both were still under the budget. You'd be okay, so long as you-
"Kakuzu! Look! They have about a million different sodas!"...Never mind.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Please please please?" you begged, hands folded and on your knees as you pleaded with Kakuzu to buy the boogy board.
"No, ___. We are already way over our budget." Kakuzu said.
"Oh, it's only Pein's money, and he's rich!" you said. "He won't mind, Kuzu-kun..."
Kakuzu sighed and nodded, and you squeed in delight. One thing was for sure: he was never going to take you shopping again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Two hundred and seventeen dollars," Kakuzu said, glaring at you.
You were currently trying to vanish away from Kakuzu, whose unusual eyes made his glare all the more threatening.
"We were two hundred and seventeen dollars OVER! Do you know what that means?" Kakuzu roared.
"I'm sorry, Kuzu-kun..." you said, ducking your head. "I just wanted the party to be fun..."
"Fun?! You think blowing all this money is fun?!" Kakuzu demanded.
You shook your head. "N-no. I just...Please don't hurt me!"
Kakuzu was taken aback. Hurt you? He could never hurt you. You were too sweet and innocent. And you did have a certain appealing quality; the way your lower lip jutted out and your eyes got all big when you were pleading with him.
"Okay, ___, I won't hurt you," Kakuzu said. "But you'll have to make it up to me."
You nodded vigorously. "Okay, Kuzu-kun! Just say the world and I'll do it!"
He smiled and leaned forward, his lips brushing against yours for the briefest of moments. "You have to spend all of the party with me," he said.
You blushed scarlet and nodded, a big grin slowly stretching across your face. "Sounds fun, Kuzu-kun~!" you said, the two of you sharing a sly grin.
Happy Fourth of July!
