Now I wished I was back in my peaceful forest.
School is a word that describes hate, stupidity and uselessness. Not one person in here is actually learning anything, they just sit in their chairs, looking at the teacher as she or her drones on and on. Useless is the best word to descirbe school.
"Now please take out your math books and go to page 20" says the teacher, everyone reaches into their desks and oulls out the heavy book. Shuffling of paper, and flipping of pages fills the air. A few start to whisper and giggle at something another a=has said, and then their all at it.
It's like a chain reaction. One person starts talking, then another and another and so on. It would be facinating if it were not so boring.

"Carady! Carady!" I hear my mom call from the house, I fold a corner of the book I was reading and take a deep breath of the surrounding woods.
"Coming mom" I shout back and run towards the house. The grass was still brittle, but the snow had gone, being replaced by frost and ice. I look up at the weak rays of sun poking out behind the clouds, trying to take over the gloomy existance of the evil clouds.
My mom is sitting on the balcony holding a glass of wine in one hand and a book in the other, when I come up the stairs she looks at me smiling. "It's your birthday soon, so I thought we'd start making plans! It is your thirteenth, and it's an important one" she says, she swishes the wine around in her cup and takes a drink. I sigh and tell her I would think about it, but I would like to get back to my book.
I am just about to leave when she calls out to me. "Carady dear, are you trying to be social at school?" Yes, she asked me that. Any normal parent would have asked me how my first day was, she asks me if I was social or not.
"Yes mom" I say exhasperatedly and run down the stairs eager to be back in my forest. Interesting that I call it my, when I've only just moved here. The tree's seem to reach out at me, and I to them. I feel a pull towards the nature and the beauty of the forest, I have always felt this way...
I love the night. A time of day where it becomes dark and you can't see your hand in front of your face. It is amazing. My IPod is blasting U2 into my sensitive ear drums, I love it.
Music and the forest is my life. It's kind of always been that way. I have never been a real social person and it takes awhile for me to make friends.
"Hey Carady, I need help on my homework" says my little sister, I grumble and rest my hand on my chin. She smiles sweatly at me and her braces poke out of her mouth. Ugh!
"I'm not helping you, go ask mom" I say and she puts out her lip and gives me a puppy dog face. How can I resist that? "Fine! But only for a few questions" I say and she smiles at me sweetly.
I think I liked it here, it wasn't too bad.
