18 year old Coy Duke and his dad Vance come to take care of Daisy while Bo and Luke go to Nashville for the summer. One night Vance started drinking. He had a secret that this wasn't the first time he'd been drinking ever since Coy was born he just didn't know how to tell his son that.Coy never saw him do it. On july 4th 1983 Coy came home from a party and saw Vance with beer in his hand and a gun ! " Son go to your room ! " "Why I didn't do anything?" said Coy. " Just go now ! slam the door and cover your ears." Coy did as he was told. Vance grabbed Daisy and shot her ! Coy heard the shot he was starting to go up the stairs Vance caught him and chased him up to their bedroom. Coy slamed the door. Vance yelled "OPEN THIS GOD DAMN DOOR ! " He kicked at it too then he knocked it down and saw Coy hiding in the corner of their bed he forced Coy to get on the bed and kiss him but he wouldn't so Vance beat him up the he pointed the gun to Coy's head and shot him too. But Coy was still alive bearly breathing. Then Vance shot himself Coy called 911 and Boss and Rosco and Enos. Enos was sad when he heard that Daisy was dead so was Cooter when he heard the news. Rosco picked up Coy took him out of the house. Before Vance shot himself he set the house on fire he and Daisy were burned in the fire but Coy made it out on time. Vance would have been sent to 50 years in prison but his body burned in the fire before they were able to arrest him. When Bo and Luke came home they were upset when they found out their house burned down and 1 of their cousins was dead and Bo lost Daisy his sisrter. As for Coy he and Bo and Luke bought a new house and he adopted a son named Cory who his now 5 years old.
