Chapter 2

Coming Home

For the next couple of days Krystal just led in her bed alone, occasionally she would get out of bed for a snack or to go to the bathroom, but apart from that she just led there next to the phone. Krystal would sleep or look at a photo of her and Fox and remember the good times they spent together.

' Ring Ring, Ring Ring ' Krystal immediately jumped from her bed and clutched the phone in her hands

“FOX!” she screamed into the phone

“Um no... its Falco” Said the confused bird at the other end of the phone “I was calling for Fox but he doesn't seem to be there” The bird at the other end was about to hang up the phone

“Wait !” said the worried blue fox “ talk to me, did Fox say anything at the bar last Saturday ?”

“Um , nothing important” replied Falco

“Did he say anything about me” said Krystal, as she said this she burst into tears.

“No, … Wait are you OK Krys” asked the confused bird

“Fox has run away … and um I'm pregnant” muffled the crying fox

“ WHAT !” screamed the bird “ I'll be right over”

Five minutes later there was a knock at the door, Krystal heard this but she didn't have enough energy to get up from the floor. Luckily Falco had a spare key and was able to unlock the door and come in. Krystal heard repeated shouts of 'Krystal' and 'were are you Krys' before Falco charged into the bedroom and saw a blue fox lying in a puddle of tears, faint and weak. Falco immediately picked her up and placed her in the big bed.
