I started coughing up blood. My ability to see getting worse. Dying slowly. Very slowly.

Sania: Lenzia come on you have to keep fighting.

Fire kept flying over our heads. People kept dying around us. Sania came over and forcefully picked me up. She looked towards me and started lightly smacking my face.

Sania: You have to stay alive Lenz. I need you. Your pack needs you. The entire population of Vampires Needs you. You need to be alive or we all die.

Something came up behind us. I never saw what it was. She screamed loudly and got dragged away to the depth of the forest behind us. Letting me fall to the ground. Clinging To the ground hands ripping apart into bloody shreds as she disappeared. I didn't even try to get up. All I could hear was screaming. All I could see was blood everywhere. All over my body, the ground, and everyone else. Departed limbs separated across the forest floor. I had now given up. I was ashamed at what I had done. I had failed to protect my pack and my species. We were all doomed.

Now you're probably wondering why I chose to start the story here. At the worst part. The day our entire population lost all hope. And sacrificed it all. I'm willing to tell you the whole story, though it may be a long one. It wasn't always so brutal. Though it looks like us vampires were so ravenous and bloodthirsty, we aren't. Well... actually we are. This story started much differently though. We never used to live in hatred of each other. Vampires, Werewolves and X's alike. You will learn more about X's as we go on. Monarchs [The more powerful of each breed; the original families.] Ruled mostly but they were a dying breed amongst us all. Myself well I was one of the rare few among the vampires. And it was my job (will the help of few), to protect and secure everyone and everything we stood for. But enough of al this. I will tell you how we got to our destructive ways. In the end you will fully understand, the meaning of our demise. Just remember throughout the story that Everything, is not as it may seem. There are secrets and lies that live within us all.
