A gun shot is heard. Lieutenant Kevin Lans winced in pain as the bullet tore through his skin and mussle. Sniping from the roof stood Captain Fox, the captain of his squad. Mistified, Kevin went through his life and how he spent and wasted it starting at his childhood. Knowing it was imperative he makes his choice, or it would be made for him.

"Mr. Lans," Kevin heard a strict voice exclaim, "Would you mind explaining to me why you are sleeping during class?" Stumbling over a last minute excuse, Kevin peered down at his geography map he was supposed to be drawing while Mrs. Sanders, his thrid grade teacher was threatening him with punishments. Sternly staring at poor Kevin, Mrs. Sanders was about to send him to the principal. Rage filled Kevin's mind, for this was the fifth time he took a trip to the principal's office this week. "All you do is tell us to do this and do that, and if we..." Kevin was cut off by the unmistakeable shrill of the fire alarm. Sceaming, all the kids panic as Mrs. Sanders fultile attempted to hlep all the children escape the building safely. Because of his previous issuses in class, he was told to get at the end of the line. Quickly, the intense heat was felt by everyone and cause chaos within the classroom. Running to the window Kevin stumbled and accidently knocked himself out on his desk.
