The Prayer — Chapter 2

A fanfiction about in Misc » Other stuff

Slowly his eyes flickered open, he was now in his family's church waiting for the closing prayer to end. Ten year old Kevin hated church and wished his parents would stop bugging him about becoming a Christian. Half-heartedly he listen to the pastor bore him with a lecture on how he was messed up. After the service Pastor Dave walked by and friendly patted Kevin's back and complimented him on how well he behaved. Feeling somewhat guilty, Kevin nodded and turned away since he knew that heaven wasn't real. After all, how could a good person go to hell and someone who lived a down right evil life go to heaven? Questions and doubt nagged Kevin until he made the right decision to just pretend he was a Christian and lived a normal life.

"What? What do you mean I can't go to the movies, my report isn't due for a week," Kevin despretely replied, "All my friends are going." "I said no because you are not old enough to watch that movie. The content in it is not good and..." Angerly Kevin stormed out of the room and started off for the movies against his dad's will.
