There was that sceam for help, it was almost as someone was dying. A blood curdling scream, like some was was dying. Following the sound, he found a little boy with a knife in his back. Blood splatted on the ground, pooling around the child. Towering above the cadaverous courpse was a man dressed in black holding a woman sobbing at gunpoint. Kevin raced to the mugger and ineffectively tried to fend him off. A gun shot was heard and Kevin felt a sharp pain rippling through his side. Blood sprayed and he closed his eyes.
His eyes opened and he was back on the ground, lying there with a broken leg. His life slipped right through his fingers. He was a decent child, but there was always an emptiness the lurked within him. Hidden demons lay in his heart waiting. The pain they cause was almost unbareable, but somehow he did it.
Captain Fox leaped down from his sniping position and pulled out a Desert Eagle. "I'm sorry son, the payoff was to great to refuse. Killing you was not part of the plan, but you interfered," Fox explained. "None of this was part of the plan, you were like... like a father to me. And just like my real one," Memories flooded into Kevin's mind, "And just like real one, I hate you." "I can't kill you," Fox lowed the gun slowly as Kevin stared at him, studing him for what he really meant, "I'm just going to leave you here and I'll tell them you got shot and fell of a roof. Deal? Actually, I don't trust you." "Fine, go ahead, kill me. But killing an unarmed man is hardly acceptable for a guy like you." "Nice set of last words, it's a good thing you are armed, you've got two."
