Mia Thermopolis: Eighth Grader

1st Day of Eighth Grade — Chapter 1

A fanfiction about in Books » The Princess Diaries

God, Lana Wienburger's hair is so blonde. I mean, hair that blonde should be illegal. Lana Weinburger should be illegal. Today she threw her book bag at me and said, "Catch, dork! Are you sure you're supposed to be here? Maybe you got lost, but this is middle school." She can be so annoying sometimes!

Lilly is totally giving me the evil eye right now because I'm supposed to be thinking of ways we can get her parents out of the house tonight to watch our favorite movies and dance and trash and clean the house all before they get back. I didn't have the heart to tell her that a) it was a totally bad idea and b) they probably wouldn't go out anyway, since Mrs. Moscovitz has the flu.

But if I go to Lilly's house tonight, I will get to see Lilly's totally cute brother, Micheal, who's in the tenth grade. He is soooooooooooooooo cute. When I voiced this thought, Lilly said, "Focus, Mia! Who cares about my stupid, ignorant brother when we could be preparing ourselves for the ultimate teen experience tonight: trashing a house!"

I really don't like trashing houses. I mean, WHY? What about the poor souls that have to clean these houses? Isn't that kind of unfair?

Oops, gotta run. Last period's over and I still have to convince Lilly why her idea is not going to work!
