A/N: Based on a true story. Except we were playing the game at a church retreat and the room and bathroom setup was exactly the same, except said room was the youth ministers room. And yes, the shower was wet. Great times, great times....[Cheyenne]
disclaimer: I own none of the characters or bands except Rachel, Cheyenne, Morgan and collectively, The Checkerboard Stripes.[ps-don't take the name it is an actual band]

“Hey, hey, hey!” Rachel said looking at the camera. “This is Rachel Song,” she started.
“Cheyenne Ree,”(A/N yes, I was in a Scooby-Doo mood! XD) Cheyenne added.
“And Morgan May,” Morgan finished.
“And we are The Checkerboard Stripes!” Rachel enthusiastically told the viewers of the Fuse Hit List.
“We're here to host the Summer Hit List and introduce some videos from our record label, Fueled By Ramen, that you may have never seen before,” Cheyenne said.
“So sit tight and enjoy,” Morgan finished off and “Don't Trust Me” started playing.
The girls looked at each other. “The song is everywhere,” Rachel, Cheyenne and Morgan said together.
“We can't escape it,” Morgan added.
“It's in the gym,” Rachel said.
“The locker room,” Cheyenne added.
“The halls,” Morgan added.
“My dad's truck.”
“My dad's truck.”
“My mom's car.”
“My mom's car.”
“My mom's car.”
“My aunt's car.”
“My room.”
“My room.”
“And mine.”
“My kitchen.”
“And my kitchen.”
“And mine.”
“My dining room.”
“My computer room.”
“My living room.”
“And mine.”
“Same here.”
And so this conversation went on for about another five minutes, literally. (A/N: that is an actual conversation I and Chey had together. And it did last about 7 minutes or so.)
about forty-five minutes later...
“So as we come to a close with this Hit List, we promised some videos from Fueled By Ramen,” Rachel said.
“Here are some videos from Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship and more,” Cheyenne said.
“And to start us off, here's Guilty Pleasure by Cobra Starship,” Morgan said.
later that night...
“OKAY GUYS! Time for a game,” Rachel announced to the group of partying bands in Gabe Saporta's house.
“What kind of game?” Gabe asked suggestively. That's just the way Gabe is.
“It's called Sardines. I and Cheyenne got it from church camp but it's super fun, believe it or not,” Rachel announced.
“Since we have way more than ten people it's going to be a lot easier to play,” Cheyenne said, her and Rachel counting heads. There were about 35 people. Oh dear. This is going to be interesting. Seeing as in total we have 38 people. (Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, The Cab, Hey Monday, Cute is What We Aim For, Gym Class Heroes and The Checkerboard Stripes-our band)
“Okay, I and Cheyenne are going around the house shutting off all the lights,” Rachel said. At this at least five of the guys whistled or hooted.
“Rules of the game,” Cheyenne started, “No flashlights, just cell phone lights if you have too. No screaming whatsoever. No groups bigger than groups of 2. Do not text!”
“Okay now, how to play. One person hides somewhere in the house. Keeping all of the lights off, everyone looks around for the person in hiding. If you find that person you have to hide with them until there are ten people in the hiding spot. When there are ten people scream through the house ROUND OVER,” Rachel said.
“So we're going to go shut the lights off and everyone stay here. The lights in the living room will be the only lights on in the house and it will be like home base,” Cheyenne said. Soon the girls came back to a room full of awaiting FBR mates.
“I'm gonna hide and you can all go searching after one minute. Remember the rules!” Rachel said as she ran out of the living room to find a decent hiding spot.
She went up the stairs, around the corner and into the room that not too many people notice, it just happened to be Gabe's room. Of course. Inside Gabe's room was three other doors, two closets and a bathroom. The coolest thing about the bathroom is there's another door inside it which holds the shower. Not many people would notice that door in the dark so Rachel closed over door she went through, hopped in the shower and closed the curtain. Unfortunately, the shower was wet.
About thirty seconds later she started hearing people shuffle through the dark house. Two minutes later Ryan Ross and Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco walked into the bathroom, opened up the shower door, then the shower curtain. They did this exactly how they were supposed to: quietly.
“Shut all the doors behind you!” Rachel whispered to them.
“Already did,” Brendon whispered as he softly closed this door.
“Are we all supposed to hide in the shower?” Ryan asked. Rachel nodded.
“What?” Brendon asked like it was never gonna happen.
“If we run out of room people can hide in the closet inside here. There are too many closets in Gabe's room!” Rachel whispered to them as they got in the shower.
“It's wet!” Ryan said setting his foot down.
“I know, now shut it!” Rachel replied.
Four minutes later Gabe and William Beckett of The Academy Is... came in.
“Did you shut the doors?” Brendon whispered. William nodded in response. Gabe raised his eyebrow at Rachel at her particular hiding spot. Rachel rolled her eyes. The five of them started getting pretty hot in there since the room was so small and they couldn't turn the fan on since that would be a dead give-away, so when Cheyenne and Morgan walked in five minutes later the cool air outside was like heaven.
“How are we all supposed to fit in here?” Cheyenne whispered. She looked at Rachel squished against Ryan squished against Brendon squished against Gabe squished against William. Rachel knew Cheyenne wanted in here but even Gabe's big shower wasn't big enough to hold them all.
“Hide in the closet over there,” Rachel pointed. Cheyenne reluctantly walked over there, Morgan following behind.
“ROUND ONE OVER! WE GIVE UP!” The group heard Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes yelling after another hot and sweaty(A/N: not referring to the “floating tiger” show but I would call it a very good pun =D) five minutes. If three more people would have found them they would have won but the fact that everyone gave up gave Rachel an amazing satisfaction.
“How come no one every finds you when you hide for Sardines?” Cheyenne asked Rachel.
“Because I'm a good hider,” Rachel said smiling.
“I'm sure,” Cheyenne said.
“Gabe's shower was wet,” Rachel said, simply. Cheyenne whined softly.
“I sowwy,” Rachel smiled and patted the top of Cheyenne's head. “You can be the next hider.” Immediately Cheyenne's eyes lit up.
“Oh cod, what are you thinking?” Morgan asked her.
“Nothing...” Cheyenne said innocently.
“Don't look through Gabe's stuff,” Rachel said sternly. Cheyenne gave the puppy-dog pout but agreed not to.
“Who's up for another round?” Rachel asked as they got to the living room. Immediately everyone shouted “Me!” and they were off to another round of Sardines.
