Weekend To Remember
Chapter 9 — Chapter 9
A/N: Doesn't this sound familiar? I am so sorry Shay and Alex! Haha I have BOTH attic situations in here. Haha. Anyway, read on!

"What?" Rachel asked.
"The door's stuck!" Jon replied, his voice strained as he yanked at the door handle.
"NOT AGAIN!" Rachel, Cheyenne and Morgan yelled at the same time.
"What?" Gabe and William asked.
"This is the third time we've gotten locked in an attic!" Cheyenne replied.
"Are you serious?" Gabe asked chuckling.
"Yes!" Morgan said.
"The first time we got stuck in Rachel's attic," Cheyenne said.
"Then we got stuck in Morgan's attic," Rachel said.
"And now Ryan's," Cheyenne said. Morgan laughed once.
"Of course," she said as she layed down.
"It's cold up here," Megan said.
"No, I thought it was 80 degrees," William rolled his eyes.
"I'm warm," Rachel said snugly, wrapped in her warm, fuzzy, orange blanket.
"Holy shit," Gabe said.
"What?" William asked.
"Do you feel that?"
"Feel what?"
"The heat coming off of her!" Gabe said, about five feet away from Rachel.
"Are you serious?!" Spencer asked.
"Yes!" Gabe replied. Rachel laughed. But of course, at this comment everyone moved closer to Rachel, trying to get some of her heat.
"No no," Ryan started, "she's mine." This made Rachel smile.
A half an hour later...
*Creeeeeeek*
"What was that?" Megan asked, sleepily.
"I have no clue," Ryan said, also, very sleepily.
*Creeeeeeek*
"That is really starting to freak me out, seriously, who is it?" Megan asked.
*CREEEEEEEK*
"GUYS!" Megan said.
"What?" Gabe asked.
"What the hell is that?" Megan asked.
"I have no idea. Does someone want to check the door?" Ryan replied. No one made a sound.
*CRASH*
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Megan practically yelled. It sounded like pot and pans. But it sounded very close....
"Ahh!" Morgan sleep-screamed.
"WHAT?!" Spencer started. "OH!"
"What is it?" asked Brendon. "AH WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"
"EEWW!" Cheyenne yelled when she felt it.
"What- AHH!" Megan screamed as something ran up her leg.
"Oh my gosh!" Patrick yelled as it crawled over his stomach and onto Rachel.
"AHH EWW!" Rachel screamed amidiately followed by Ryan's "AH!'
"AAAHHH!" Gabe and William screamed, yes, screamed.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS IT?" Jon then Courtney started laughing, "It tickles!" followed by a loud SMACK!
"What did you just do?" asked Megan, kind of frantically.
"It's a.....squirrel?" Jon asked while Brendon lit a lighter they brought up for candles. Everyone saw the writhing squirrel trying to escape from Jon's grasp.
"Oh my gosh, Ryan fix the holes in your attic!" Rachel said as the spotted the hole it crawled through and the box of old pots and pans it knocked over.
"Like I knew we had holes up here!" he replied.
"Get it out," Pete said, the only person that didn't get any squirrely-goodness.
"Don't hurt it!" Courtney said.
"I wont," Jon replied and stuck it back through the hole in the side of the wall/roof. (A/N haha, wall-roof. It kinda sounds like walrus XD)
"Now block it up," Brendon said, still holding the lighter.
"With what?" Jon asked.
"The piano stand," Rachel suggested. So Ryan flipped over the piano stand and slid it over to Jon whol moved it as close up to the wall/roof as possible.
"Okay, so now can we go to bed?" Megan asked.
"You're the one that woke everyone up!" Gabe said.
"No I wasn't! It was that stupid squirrel!" she replied.
"Either way, it doesn't matter. I wanna get to bed," Cheyenne said.
"Me too," Ryan said laying back down. Rachel layed next to him and they both got under her orange blanket, which was really warm. Gabe was right.
Within ten minutes everyone was asleep.
the next morning...
"I really think we should try and knock the door down," Rachel said. Everyone's stomachs were growling soo loudly and, obviously, the door wasn't opening.
"My parent's would kill me," Ryan said.
"I am freakin' cold, Rachel come here," Spencer said. Rachel trudged over to Spencer and wraped part of her blanket around him.
"I need slippers," Rachel said.
"Why?" Ryan asked.
"Because my feet are freezing!" she replied.
"You are like a fernice and your feet are cold?" Spencer asked.
"Yes!" Rachel said. "See?" She put her toes on Spencer's foot to show him how cold they were.
"They're like ice cubes!" he replied.
"Yeah!" Rachel said.
"Anyway, let's try this one more time," Jon said.
"One, two, three!" Brendon yelled as him, Jon and William all pushed on the door.
"It's not gonna budge," William said.
"I say we should find some other place to get out," Cheyenne said.
"Why?" asked Courtney.
"Because when we got locked in Morgan's attic we found another way out," she replied.
"And how'd you get out of Rachel's?" Megan asked.
"We threw things and waved things out the window until my dad noticed and broke us out," Rachel said.
"Nice. So we know that's out of the picture," Megan said.
"You have a window in your attic?" Ryan asked Rachel.
"One of those little ones on the front," Rachel replied.
"Yeah. Well, Morgan is still asleep, should we wake her up?" Ryan asked.
"No," Cheyenne and Rachel said at the same time.
"She's a BEAR," Cheyenne said.
"I haven't noticed," Brendon said, actually non-sarcastically, because Morgan's been getting more sleep than usual here.
So they began the search for a way out of the attic. About fifteen minutes later they found a little square hatch that lead into Ryan's parent's bedroom closet.
"You never knew this was here?" Patrick asked Ryan.
"No, I don't really root through my parents closet every day," Ryan replied.
"Hey, at least they have shelves in here that we can climb down," Rachel said. This was a lot like her attic's "other hatch". Everyone climbed out except Morgan, who was asleep, still.
"What should we do about her?" Spencer asked.
"Just leave her there. She'll eventually wake up and we'll hear her screaming," Cheyenne said.
"Oh, that's never good," Brendon said.
A/N: Haha Morgan we left you up there. I wouldn't actually wake you up to get you out though. Because you'd like kill yourself trying to get out because you'd be like half asleep or more. So yeah. Haha sorry!
