Soon after the Javelin landed on Earth Dexter and the other survivors were picked up by a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier. Dexter had been led away from the group and introduced to Professor Emil Hamilton.

“Hello Dexter, I’m Professor Hamilton. I was sent to retrieve you on behalf of S.T.A.R. Labs.” said Hamilton. He shook Dexter’s hand and motioned for the young boy to follow him.

“Why would S.T.A.R. Labs want me?”

“The Borg have already begun attacking Earth. We need all of the brightest minds working together to defeat them. We’ve already cleared everything with S.H.I.E.L.D. You’ll be working for us now.”

“Well it is true that I am a genius.” said Dexter. The pair reached a hangar and boarded a helicopter with the S.T.A.R. Labs logo. There was no turning back now.
