" I won't lie to you, this isn't what I wanted but I love it anyways." Garra awoke with a start. It was that same damn dream always that same damn dream. It was almost as if it ment something but Garra was much to tired to think about it so he just rolled over and went back to sleep. An hour later he was kicked out of bed by his sister, the sand stopped him before he hit the floor but he still sent some straight at her. She put her hand over her eyes and started yelling as usuall.

"I don't know why you think your so special. I don't care what you think is protecting youor what thinks it's protecting you, but that will not stop me from kicking your lazy ass out of bed every morning."

It was a common speach and he knew it well by now. He got up and showered and dressed, but at 17 he wasn't much intrested in the school she thought she was sending him to. He'd only gone one day this year and he didn't want to make it a habbit. He laughed as he walked out the door, "School, what a joke."

He was headed for the dunes as usuall, when his cell phone went off. One of the guys at school, "Dude come check out school for a day new girls really hot!" Well one day couldn't hurt to bad, he started the other direction. He walked for 15 minutes before he reached his high school , what a waste of space he thought. He met up with some friends before heading to his first period.

The teachers in every class that day seemsed really schocked when they'd call his name for attendance and he awnsered back. Most of them were really nice about make up work and catching up. They all thought he had been out due to sickness. And every class period he would look for the new girl and not find her. What a waste of time he thought. Then he saw her pitch black hair and glowing black eyes, skin pale as his and a figure most models would kill for. And as luck would have it she was in his last three classes and sat right net to him.

His first attempt at speach with her was interupted by the teachers insesant chatter. And the sad part was this chick was actually listening.Oh well pretending to take some notes might get her attenchion. It worked, 3 minutes later she tapped on his shoulder to ask if he had gotten that last quote. he replied that he had and showed her his note book which along with the notes had several of his favorite wild flowers sketched into the margin.

"Oh my, where have you seen these?" She asked.

"They grow a ways out past the dunes near the hang out. I'll take you some time if you want." he replied with his favorite drop her dead in her tracks smile.

"Well maybe tonight then if we don't have too much home work." She smiled sweetly back.

"I'll pick you up at 8 then." He liked her he knew it she knew and now the whole class room knew it becaue the teacher had stopped teaching to listen to their little exchange and was now commenting on it. It pissed Garra off so he broke the windows with his sand. "By the way I never got your name mine is Garra and i'll walk you to your locker since we get out early."

"My name is Karri, i'm new as you know and from the village hidden in the Leaves. And windows randomly breaking isn't my expertiese but i'd sayyouhad somethign to do with that."

"Well Maybe just a little." he wrote his number on her and and with a flick of his wristhe was gone. Tamari was never going to believe he had actually gone to school. And that hewas seriously thinking about going back tomorrow, but he'd wait and see how well tonight went. He couldn't wait to show her the dunes and the one hidden green valley that only he knew about where his favorite wild flower grew......
