Right?

Right? — Chapter 1

A fanfiction about in Misc » PATD.

"What the hell?" Ryan yelled/squeaked when he walked out of his bathroom.

So it was 10pm. Ryan was planning on going to sleep. Yes he's a dork, going to sleep at 10pm. Who does that? Well anyways. He comes out into his living room and there is someone standing there. And? What's important about this? Well there is this person standing there in a rabbit suit. But Ryan doesn't know who. He kind of thinks of that really freaky rabbit thing off of Donnie Darko. It's very similar too it. So he thinks he really needs to lay off the drugs.

The figure starts to take off the head.

'NO. Don't kill me,I promise I'll do whatever just don't kill me! Take my socks, my car, my pizza rolls just DON'T kill me!' Ryan screams afraid for his life at this moment.

The figure doubles over in laughter, and Ryan is still scared. But he seems to be letting up a little bit. Then the person takes off his head and grins that strangely looks like a satisfied grin and a smirk.

'What the fuck, Brendon?' Ryan yells, 'What was that for?'

'Ross, we're going trick or treating. Get something to wear.'

'But I don't wannu.' Ryan frowns. 'And plus I don't have anything.'

'Oh I brought you something.' Brendon says and goes to his bag, pulling out a black and white costume. He throws the pants and shirt over to Ryan and he catches them, and looks them over. He's got a pair of accentuating off-white pinstripe pants and a black and white striped shirt.

'What am I going to be?'

Brendon grins before looking up and saying, 'a mime.'

Ryan gives him a look that says 'why? what the hell and you are a freak' all in one funky combination of just one look.

'And we are going to scare kids!' Brendon grins evily.

'That's mean.' Ryan says before grinning. 'I'll be right back.'

Ryan walks into the bathroom with his costume and quickly pulls the shirt on, it's long sleeved, so he doesn't have to worry about freezing his ass off tonight, that's always a plus. He then starts working at the pants.

'Could you have gotten them in a smaller size? Jesus Christ, I can barely pull them up.' Ryan yells out the door.

'Need some help?' Ryan can just hear the suggestive grin on his face.

'No, I think I can handle it.' Ryan hears Brendon say something along the lines of 'tease.'

After Ryan manages to pull the pants up he walks out of the bathroom.

'Ready.'

'You are not ready. You need makeup!'

Ryan sighs. 'Come help me then.'

Ryan starts putting white makeup over his face to make him fit the part of a mime and picks up his eyeliner pencil.

'Can I do it?' Brendon asks.

'Uhm.. sure.' Ryan replies.

'Sit.' Ryan sits down on the edge of the bathtub. Brendon walks over with the pencil in his hand and practically sits in Ryan's lap, Ryan just squeaks and blushes. The younger boy takes the older's chin into his hand and pulls down his eyelid a litte and drags the pencil across the bottom of his eyelid then does the other.

Brendon, genuinely satisfied with his work, jumps up off of Ryan's lap. And Ryan is pretty sure he has a permanent blush on his face, thank god for a white face right now, or this would not go to well. Also Ryan thanks whatever higher power up there that the pants he has on are too tight, that they do not show anything. 'Now. We're ready?' Ryan says more of a question than a comment.

'Yep.' Brendon says bouncing on his heels.

They both walk out the door and go down the street, their are the normal kids with normal boring costumes, like Frankenstein and a ghost. So original right? Uhhuh.

They see a group of girls walk past them. Two of them looked ridiculously scene and Ryan wonders if they are actually like that, and the other in a Mario costume.

Ryan nudges Brendon's left arm, 'what about them? They look scare-able.'

'I agree.'

'How are we gonna do this?'

'Very carefully.' Brendon just gives him a look.

So they decide to follow them for a bit, and freak them out first, and they think it works, because the one in the Mario costume keeps looking back, then freaks out a little bit. It could be because Ryan was dressed as a mime. Or that Brendon was dressed as a freaky rabbit. Whichever it freaked them out.

They go for a classic, Ryan says that him and Spencer always used to hide behind bushes to scare the girls in his neighborhood. Mostly the really preppy airheads who were dressed as sluts, and such. Halloween is the holiday where you can dress as a slut and not get judged, apparently.

They hide behind a big bush that strangely looks like a penis, Brendon noticed. Ryan wonders why.

While they are crouched down they hear the girls come back down on the sidewalk, and one of them is spazzing about something, about an alpaca? What the hell? That's weird.

When the girls walk past, Brendon and Ryan jump out.

'HOLY SHIT.' The one in the Mario costume screams.

'DAMMIT.' One of the scene girls says.

'Darnit.' The other said.

'DARN.' The Mario one says.

'Just lost the game.'All three of the mutter.

Ryan and Brendon just laugh. After talking a bit with the girls they keep walking and eventually they get to a park. Not just a park. The park. The only park in the town really. They both lay down next to eachother, until Ryan says something about being cold. Brendon says he is pretty cold too. They lay there not really caring whether they are cold or not.

After about an hour of small sentences being exchanged under the stars. Ryan decides they should go home. Brendon agrees.

When they get back to Ryan's house. Ryan is still complaining out being freezing, and he curls up on the couch, and Brendon sits next to him.

'You cold?' Ryan asks.

'Yeah.' Brendon replies.

'C'mere.' Ryan says and smiles and Brendon curls into his side.

Ryan has learned over the years, Brendon can be very affectionate sometimes, and goofy. Mostly goofy, that's just his personality though. And Ryan won't admit it, but he really enjoyed laying with Brendon that night. He could feel his body heat, and that would be enough. Right? It's not weird, that Ryan enjoys the younger boy's company maybe more than other guys. Right? It's not weird. Right?
