cassie07 a.k.a. Lady Cassandra
ohkay! so i now have an account, i've pubished several chapters on my story and another indeendent one-shot ad i'm out of words and ideas for my next chapters! so, i turn my head here - THE PROFILE
(*horror sound effects* dum dum dum dum!!) haha. i'm a 19-year old college student studying BS in Pharmacy at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. I don't really live there, and in fact I come
from a more interesting province within the country - Batangas. It's the home of balisongs, kapeng barako and people who have accents that seem amusing to hear (according to the 'city people'). Haha,
we Batanguenos tend to use 'ala eh'in our sentences. For example, "ala eh, this fish is good." But of course the english words are spoken in Tagalog. haha.. My interest in writing is founded in my
hobby of reading. My first book (pocketbook, more correctly) is one entitled Strictly Business and i never really knew who the author was coz the cover and the first page have been torn from it.
Nevertheless, i fell in love with the love story (uh-huh, am a hopeless romantic) and tried to construc my own 'expressive' words. Let's just say, I learned to 'beat around the bush' rather han go
straight to the point. i guess creative writing does that to you. =) I love fantasy movies, especially those with magic and dragons and all kinds of mystical creatures. Daydreaming could have been
one of my hobbies... until i found a way of releasing them through pen and paper. I'm pretty much a person of impulse. When I want to do something, I do it. When I don't feel like doing it, then it
gets stuck on my desk until I get into the mood again. My stories are my diversions from the tension and pressure of the 'outside world', if you know what i mean. Finding Fictionesque proved to be
the most exciting moment in my writing history, haha. I've been looking for a means to release my imagination without all the clutter of Asian fanaticism going around. They tend to overpower the
original works in my opinion. oh well, thanks for reading my profile! I do hope you could visit my stories and maybe, if you liked it, leave some words for it. Your reviews are greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot again. Oh and if you have time to get to the philippines, try to visit Batangas. I'd be glad to accompany your tour. =) Ciao!
